is a Queer Ethnographic Artist exploring co-operative filmmaking practices and community-led healthcare archiving.
They are the co-director of XYZ Projects, a trans- and disabled-led healthcare arts collective based between Birmingham and East London. Jaunts holds an MA in Visual Anthropology, where they authored Queering the Healthcare Information Film, an essay an exploring the application of community-made NHS staff training resources. Alongside this research, they produced Dr. XYZ, a satirical public information film on trans healthcare.
Jaunts also works part-time as a film workshop facilitator with Queer Life: Moving, a project initiated by Prof. Michelle Aaron (Warwick University) that collaborates with LGBTQIA+ people with lived experience of end-of-life care.
Their current research project, Elders, 2085, combines live performance and architectural model installation to imagine queer and trans ageing and alternative visions of the care home. Elders, 2085 was commissioned through a Wellcome Trust x Unlimited Partner Award and will be further developed during the Gasworks Participation Artist Residency (2025–2026).
